‘Six unforgettable days in the Champagne countryside — a perfect marriage of my two great passions: Champagne and horses. Each morning, we rode through rolling, historic vineyards and chalky lanes; riding through the countryside felt like living history, quiet and endlessly beautiful. Afternoons were reserved for intimate tastings and meetings with passionate vignerons: learning about terroir, production, and the stories behind each cuvée made every glass taste richer. The combination of saddle time and cellar conversations created a meaningful rhythm to the trip. The horses were well cared for and wonderfully steady — ideal partners for exploring varied terrain while still feeling adventurous. Guides were professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring, which made the riding relaxing and deeply enjoyable. Most of all, the people made it. A warm, international group brought laughter, generosity, and conversation to every evening, turning an already magical itinerary into a life-lasting memory. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great riding, great wine, and great company.’

‘For those heading on the Champagne ride in France, you are going to LOVE IT. For those thinking of booking, do it! You’ll have the most amazing hosts, and they’ll lead you safely through some incredible countryside on some fantastic horses. You’ll travel through picturesque French country towns like Bouzy, canter through fields of poppies, you’ll stroll up the Avenue de Champagne past Moet Chandon and Perrier Jouet, under which over 200 million bottles of Champagne lay at rest, and enjoy a picnic lunch daily in the most insane locations. Plus you’re able to drink Champagne multiple every day! Best trip of my life.’

‘This ride was a wonderful unfolding experience. I went for the horses and the excitement of riding through fairytale pretty countryside, with a glass of champagne along the way. I rode the beautiful Chanel (a Norman Cob/Arab) and she lived up to every expectation, as did the scenery. What I did not expect was that I would absorb so much about French culture. This was also a story of French culture, champagne, and the role of women in the industry. Our hosts carefully curated a point-to-point ride of about 130 km that circled Montagne de Reims, exposing us to both big producers and family-owned labels, including a visit to Dom Perignon’s home village. This has refined my appreciation for sparkling wines, I will never enjoy a sparkling wine that does not carry the chalk of those hills in it! I would do the Champagne ride all over again in a heartbeat!’
